Be prepared to answer some questions about each pet, when setting the first appointment, including:
- Age and breed (if known) of pet
- Hair: long/short, undercoat, (partially or fully) shaved?, dyed?
- Nails: regularly attended? sensitive? self-trimming (e.g. pavement walks)?
- Shots, where given, when.
- Size and approximate weight
- When and where last groomed
